First hour at Gabba ‘crucial for England’

ENGLAND face an uphill task to emulate the class of 2010/11 Down Under this winter.
That’s according to Tim Nielsen, the Aussie coach who oversaw Australia’s first home Ashes defeat in a generation six winter’s ago.
Speaking exclusively to The Cricket Paper, Nielsen said he believed a combination of home advantage and an arsenal of quick bowlers would prove too much this winter.
