I AM continually astounded by the dysfunctional way the ECB operates.
I simply can’t comprehend why they allow counties to employ Test players from countries who will be touring England in the near future.
The latest player to gain from this unofficial assistance programme is Ishant Sharma, who will play for Sussex prior to India touring this year, thus allowing him a vital period of acclimatisation.
