THE biggest question ahead of the start of the Ashes on Thursday is whether England decide to risk Jofra Archer’s fitness and hand the fast bowler a Test debut against Australia.
The 24-year-old has been nursing a side strain from the mid-point of the World Cup and needed pain-killing injections to get through the tournament. Archer did that in some style, taking 20 wickets and bowling the decisive Super Over against New Zealand in the final.
