FRUSTRATION was the word on everyone’s lips after the second Test between England and Pakistan limped towards its drawn conclusion.
In terms of actual play, it was the shortest Test in England since 1987 and although it kept the series alive going into the third Test, what it really did was reignite the debate over how one of Test cricket’s most enduring problems – bad light – should be tackled.
