The Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (RHFT) began on Saturday, and the Charlotte Edwards-coached Southern Vipers will be looking to repeat their 2023 triumph and win their fourth 50-over title in five years.
They enjoyed domestic success in the 20-over and 50-over competitions, but their route to victory in the latter was far from straightforward. The Vipers lost four of their opening six games in the RHFT, before rallying to make the final, which they won comfortably.
