JAMIE Smith’s stock remains on the rise but now he has to prove his mettle with a Tiger feat.
A maiden tour beckons for the 18-year-old wicketkeeper batsman as he jets out to Bangladesh with the Young Lions on Saturday, skippering Jon Lewis’ side in one t20 and three ODIs in Cox’s Bazar over the next four-and-a-half weeks.
There’ll be few hiding places for Smith, who made his Surrey debut against Middlesex in his side’s Vitality Blast clash with Middlesex last summer, shortly before penning his first pro contract at the Oval.
