SMRITI MANDHANA proved to be a thorn in New Zealand’s side once again as she led India to an eight-wicket victory in the second Women’s Championship game.
Mandhana smashed an unbeaten 90 to lead India to victory in Mount Maunganui on Tuesday – her eighth score past 50 in her last ten ODI’s.
She teamed up with captain Mithali Raj to put together an unbroken stand of 151 to take India to their slender target of 162 in just 35.2 overs.
