Lions fail to back up Chappell heroics

ZAK CHAPPELL inspired a feisty recovery by the England Lions attack only to see his batting colleagues fail to capitalise against India A in Mysore.
The Indian second string had been cruising at 282-2 before Chappell & Co combined to dismiss their final eight batsmen for just 110.
But any hopes of a positive statement in reply by the Lions collapsed within 50 overs on day two as they fell for 140 before being asked to follow on 252 runs adrift. Max Holden and Ben Duckett survived six overs at the close to put on 24.
