SIMPLY sharing a hotel with the men’s squad is a huge leap forward for women’s cricket, writes RACHEL STEINBERG.
That is the view of 19-year-old fast bowler Issy Wong, who has made a name for herself this season with Central Sparks in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, earning plaudits from the England selectors.
Wong is now set to make her Hundred debut for Birmingham Phoenix on July 23 – and she can’t wait to take centre stage.
