Proteas have ‘no regrets’ over AB

SOUTH Africa chiefs say they have “no regret” over the decision not to recall former captain AB de Villiers for the World Cup. The batsman, 35, quit international cricket in 2018 but made a dramatic last-ditch offer to play in this summer’s World Cup.
This, however, was turned down by the Proteas due to it being unfair to the rest of the squad.
