THOMAS REW is believed to be the youngest ever centurion in the Monmouth Scientific Somerset Cricket League – after smashing a ton at the age of 12! Rew made an unbeaten 113 to help Taunton St Andrews B to victory over Wembdon Fourths last Saturday.
The youngster, who attends King’s Hall School and is on the Somerset CCC Emerging Player Programme, shared an opening partnership of 140 with Stuart Hockey before the skipper was out for 74 in a 40-over total of 240-4.
