Saif code breach warrants long ban

A NORTHAMPTON- SHIRE Cricket League player has been banned for ten weeks after breaking the ECB anti-discrimination code.
Mohammed Saif of Brigstock, was disciplined after comments aimed at Peterborough Town skipper David Clark during a Premier Division fixture on May 1.
His dismissal during the match prompted an exchange of words, which included Saif ’s comments, that was overheard by the match umpires.
Saif, who used to play for Town, is now suspended from all competitions for ten weeks, after a Northamptonshire disciplinary committee gave their ruling.
