Seventh heaven for Virdi

AMAR Virdi continued his comeback from injury and the Surrey spinner is clearly eager to make up for lost time after he took seven wickets for Sunbury in their Surrey Premier Division victory over Esher on Saturday.
Finishing with figures of 7-55, Virdi decimated the opposing batting line-up on a spinning pitch as Sunbury romped to victory by 95 runs to give them just their second league victory of the early 2019 season.
For the 20-year-old off-break bowler, it was another chance to get overs under his belt as he aims to get back into the Surrey side having been out injured ...
