Out of jail: Treeton’s Sam Drury
TREETON captain Sam Drury admitted his side got out of jail in their 20-run win over rivals Appleby Frodingham in the Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League.
The top two sides in the division met last Saturday and despite Treeton being dismissed for just 147, an impressive performance from their spin bowlers saw them move within 18 points of top spot.
Will Street took 5-20 while Liam Johnson claimed 3-32 as Appleby Frodingham were bowled out for 127, Kieran Lindey (65no) their only batter to make it past 14.
