BUSINESS is booming for St Fagans skipper Gareth Rees – both on and off the cricket field.
After totting up almost 8,000 runs in more than 100 games for Glamorgan, Rees retired from first-class cricket in 2014 – at the age of 29 – to focus on a career in insurance.
Five years on, Rees is currently head of start-up and innovation partnerships at Admiral Group and he has no regrets about his decision to walk away from the full-time game.
