‘Strong’ NCCA bid for more big games

RICHARD Logan, is hopeful that last week’s ‘Showcase Games’ will smooth a path to greater opportunities for domestic cricket’s National Counties to rub shoulders more regularly with the 18 first-class sides.
Despite a number of fixtures being postponed as a result of the pandemic, the operations director of the NCCA believes the games that did take place illustrated the strength of those counties in cricket’s second tier.
