DERBYSHIRE pace bowler Ben Aitchison looks certain to miss the rest of the season with an ankle ligament problem.
Aitchison was injured while training in the lunch interval on the third day of the Bob Willis Trophy match against Durham.
Head of cricket, Dave Houghton, said: “We will closely monitor Ben’s recovery and I have no doubt he’ll work hard and hopefully come out stronger from the experience.”
