Driving force: Henry Thompson is firing Leyland’s title charge
WITH his exams out of the way, Henry Thompson has form at the perfect time as Leyland look to topple the top two in the Northern Premier League.
Thompson was his side’s stand out performer on Saturday as he struck 103 runs to almost singlehandedly guide his team to victory.
Leyland’s next highest score was just 16 as they were bowled out for 158 but it was more than enough as they ran through the Fleetwood batting line-up.
