RIKI Wessels has been backed to be a big hit at Worcestershire as he prepares for his first season at New Road.
Wessels signed a threeyear contract after leaving Nottinghamshire.
Worcestershire skipper Joe Leach said: “To bring in a player of Riki’s calibre shows where he thinks we are at which is a good sign.
