Wily Jeetan’s out to lead the new young Bears’ brigade

THE transition period at Warwickshire is over and the new generation has arrived at Edgbaston.
After a winter when director of sport Ashley Giles went back to England and Paul Farbrace came the other way from the ECB, it would be easy to look at a first season back in Division One as an opportunity for consolidation.
Jeetan Patel, now captain across all three formats, argues otherwise.
There are no excuses and it is up to the likes of Dom Sibley, Will Rhodes and Adam Hose – all recent additions aged 26 or under – to carry this new team to greater heights.
