Women’s T20 & ODI competitions aligned with men’s in domestic shake up

From this summer onwards, there will be women's versions of the T20 Blast and the One-Day Cup in the place of the Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, writes Katya Witney.

Men’s and Women’s T20 and one-day competitions will be played side-by-side as part of Project Darwin, the ECB's restructure of women's domestic cricket in England and Wales.
It will see the women's and men's T20 and 50-over competitions fully aligned for the first time from this summer onwards, with sides competing under the same county banner.
