A STUNNING bowling performance from Cardiff denied Leeds/Bradford the chance to seize top spot in the BUCS Premier Division standings, as they picked up a five-wicket win at Usk on Wednesday.
Ben Fullard did the damage for the hosts, taking a remarkable 4-4 from four overs bowled and ripping through Leeds’ middle order, while Kamau Leverock (2-26) and Jeremy Lawlor (2-12) also chipped in.
Steve Bullen and Martin Andersson got Leeds off to a decent start, putting on 43 for the first wicket before the latter was run out by Neil Brand.
