Nick Selman will remain at Glamorgan until at least 2019 after signing a new three-year contract with the county.
Selman, 20, initially joined on a one-year deal in November last year but has impressed with a number of high scores for Glamorgan’s Second XI.
The Australian-born batsman made his name in grade cricket down under and made his first team debut for Glamorgan against Worcestershire.
Selman said: “I’m delighted to be committing my long-term future with Glamorgan. It’s a great club with fantastic history and the support I’ve had since arriving here has been brilliant.
“I hope I can have a long and successful career with the club.”
