Pakistan’s Yasir Shah suspended after failed drugs test

The 29-year-old took 0-70 from nine overs in that match as England won by 95 and has been provisionally suspended “pending the outcome of the disciplinary process”.

Shah was named in the ICC’s Test of the year earlier this month, having taken 24 wickets in a 2-1 over Sri Lanka.

He was also part of the team that beat England 2-0 and has played 12 Tests since making his international debut in 2011.
