Surrey sign Aaron Finch as cover for Kumar Sangakkara

Sangakkara is set to play in the Caribbean Premier League and could be absent for up to six weeks from the end of June.

Finch, 29, has previously played for and is expected to make his debut in the game against on July 2. He will be available for all formats.

The Australian said: “This is a great opportunity for me and one I am very much looking forward to. To have the chance to play all forms of the game is a challenge I will relish, as I have ambitions to represent in match .

“I’m aware that Surrey have an exciting young squad and I hope I am able to add to their obvious talent.”
